David Michael Conner always saw himself as an attorney. As a teenager in Jesup, Ga., he worked for a lawyer after school and he took advantage of any opportunity to volunteer to play the role of a lawyer in school activities.

His commitment to achievement began at Wayne County High School where he was voted most likely to succeed, and his grandmother even had a recurring dream that one day Mr. Conner would stand behind a podium and address a large and important group of people.

Mr. Conner carried his passion for success to the University of Georgia where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and received the highest award given by the Terry School of Business, the Order of the Beta Gamma Sigma. He graduated summa cum laude from the Lumpking School of Law at the University of Georgia and served as the Georgia League articles editor, was active on the mock trial team and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Mr. Conner's legal career has been defined by an intrinsic dedication to excellence, a genuine dedication to meeting the needs of his clients, a fervent belief in the importance of emphasizing personal integrity during the practice of law and an unshakable foundation rooted in faith and family.

Mr. Conner is a partner in the Savannah law firm of The Conner Law Group and has built a broad-ranging litigation and business development practice. While his academic background in accounting and his general legal acumen enable him to provide counsel in a wide array of corporate matters, the area of law that continues to drive Mr. Conner is representing clients in personal injury claims. Mr. Conner's corporate law practice is concentrated on complex commercial matters, business organization and formation, business disputes, commercial disputes, construction and surety cases, class actions and mass torts.

During his career, he has been driven by peer recognition that comes along with the attainment of excellence and the internal motivation to continually improve his knowledge and his practice. His dignified approach and inarguable achievements have garnered many accolades during his career. He has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer - Rising Star for three consecutive years and is a fellow of both Council on Litigation Management and the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). Additionally, he is a member of the Advisory Board and a Georgia state chair for the LCA.

Mr. Conner embraces the diversity of his practice, representing Fortune 500 companies and individuals with equal expertise. He tried the largest condemnation case in the history of South Georgia and achieved an award of more than $30 million, and he has won millions of dollars for families impacted by tragic accidents. In 2007, he was able to obtain nearly $2 million for the parents of a child killed in a car accident; in 2006 he fought to win a $3 million verdict in favor of a mother and child who lost a husband and father in a car accident; and in 2004 he won a $2 million award for the parents of two children lost in an car accident.

Throughout his career, Mr. Conner has earned a reputation as a formidable litigator who is fully committed to integrity and honor being first and foremost in the practice of law. He has represented large clients like AT&T, American Safety Insurance, the Sheehan Company, International Paper, and Zurich Insurance Company, as well as small companies and individuals. The blend of his experience and academic background give him a unique insight into corporate formation and organizational matters while allowing him to guide clients during the creation of new businesses or alteration of existing entities.

Most importantly, Mr. Conner still looks forward to accepting new challenges and representing his clients to the best of his ability.
