Partner at The Conner Law Group peer selected for inclusion in publication's prestigious list of top Georgia attorneys.
SAVANNAH – David Michael Conner, a partner at the Savannah law firm of The Conner Law Group, has been selected by other attorneys in Georgia to be included in the 2009 edition of Georgia Trend's Legal Elite, a listing of the most respected lawyers in the state in several categories.
Conner, who primarily serves clients in Savannah and southeast Georgia, will be one of the few attorneys in the state listed in the December 2009 issue of Georgia Trend. As one of Savannah's most accomplished attorneys, Conner has consistently been recognized for his performance locally, regionally and nationally, including being selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, a Georgia Rising Star in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 by Super Lawyers.
Conner's commitment to serving the law and his clients has enabled him to be recognized as a leader in Georgia's legal community. He holds the position of Lead Chair in Georgia for the Council on Litigation Management and is a fellow and Georgia state chair of the Litigation Council of America, an organization reserved for the top 3,500 litigation lawyers in the United States. Both organizations are dedicated promoting integrity in litigation, conducting thorough peer reviews to make it easier for consumers to identify and access reputable attorneys and reducing legal costs by working to eliminate superfluous lawsuits.
During his successful 15-year legal career, Conner has earned a reputation for tenacity as a litigator and has won landmark cases for both business and individuals. He successfully tried and won one of the largest condemnation cases in the history of the state for an international corporation with offices in Savannah. Additionally, he achieved a settlement of nearly $2 million in 2007 for the parents of a child killed in an automobile accident and a $3 million settlement in 2006 for the widow and children of a Guyton man killed in a collision.
In addition to practicing personal injury law, Conner serves a diverse roster of clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 corporations in corporate areas such as general corporate law, commercial litigation, business law, securities law and litigation, intellectual property law, bankruptcy, adversary litigation, construction litigation, product liability and white collar crime.
